Spread The Cost Terms
Terms for managed driving lesson packages and eligible finance options.

Important summary
Spread The Cost is only offered after an instructor has confirmed package terms. My Instructor Finder is not a lender. Finance options are subject to eligibility and are provided securely through Stripe and available payment providers such as Klarna.
1. What Spread The Cost means
Spread The Cost is a managed package payment option. The learner pays one package price through My Instructor Finder after instructor terms are confirmed. The package can include agreed instructor lesson costs, My Instructor Finder coordination, payment handling, handover support and refund protection if the agreed start cannot go ahead.
2. What is confirmed before payment
Before a package checkout is shown, we aim to confirm the instructor, pickup area, transmission type, start date or start window, lesson duration, package size, instructor package price, payment method or payout preference, and any important conditions.
3. Finance eligibility
Stripe and available payment method providers control finance eligibility, approval, payment schedule and customer checks. My Instructor Finder does not guarantee acceptance and does not make lending decisions.
4. Package pricing
The package price shown to the learner is a managed service price. It can include the instructor lesson package, My Instructor Finder coordination, payment handling, operational support, risk reserve and platform margin. It is not described as a processor surcharge.
5. Instructor payout
My Instructor Finder may hold funds pending scheduled instructor payout. This is not escrow or client money. Payout timing is agreed for the booking and may be upfront, on the morning of the first lesson, after first lesson confirmation, weekly, lesson-by-lesson, or another documented arrangement.
6. Learner cancellation or changes
If you need to cancel, pause, reduce, reschedule or change a package, you must tell My Instructor Finder as soon as possible and before any relevant payout deadline. If you tell only the instructor and not My Instructor Finder, we may not know to pause a scheduled payout.
If we pay an instructor according to the agreed payout schedule because you did not tell us in time, refunds may be reduced or unavailable for that paid-out portion unless we can recover the funds or the law requires otherwise.
7. Instructor cancellation or failure to start
If the instructor cannot start on the agreed date, withdraws before the first lesson, or materially changes the agreed terms, we will review the refund or replacement options under the Refund Policy.
8. Lesson delivery
Driving lessons are delivered by the independent instructor, not by My Instructor Finder. The instructor remains responsible for lesson delivery, vehicle suitability, insurance, professional conduct and lesson scheduling.
9. Disputes
If there is a disagreement, we may review messages, accepted policy versions, instructor confirmations, payout records and lesson history. We may share relevant evidence with Stripe, Klarna or another payment provider where needed to handle a payment dispute.
10. Relationship with other terms
These terms sit alongside the Terms of Service, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. If a payment provider has separate terms, those also apply to your payment method.
