• "Learner" or "Learner Driver" refers to individuals seeking driving instruction
• "Instructor" or "Driving Instructor" refers to Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) listed on the Platform
• "User" refers to any person accessing or using the Platform
• "Enquiry" refers to a message sent by a Learner to an Instructor through the Platform
• "Profile" refers to an Instructor's listing page on the Platform
• "Subscription" refers to a paid plan for Instructors to receive unlimited enquiries

2 Service Description

MyInstructorFinder is an online directory and marketplace that connects learner drivers with approved driving instructors in the United Kingdom. Our services include:

• A searchable directory of driving instructors
• Instructor profile pages with information, reviews, and contact details
• An enquiry system for learners to contact instructors
• Messaging tools for communication between parties
• Educational content and guides for learner drivers

3 Eligibility

To use our Platform, you must:

• Be at least 17 years of age (the minimum age to learn to drive in the UK)
• Be located in the United Kingdom
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Not have been previously banned or removed from the Platform
• For Instructors: Hold a valid ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) badge issued by the DVSA, or be a trainee instructor under supervision

4 User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

4.2 Account Verification

We may verify your identity, email address, phone number, or instructor qualifications. Providing false information may result in account suspension or termination.

5 Terms for Learner Drivers

As a learner, you agree to:

• Provide accurate contact information when making enquiries
• Respond promptly to instructor communications
• Not misuse or spam instructors with fake or frivolous enquiries
• Not share instructor contact details inappropriately
• Make your own independent assessment of any instructor before booking lessons
• Understand that any arrangement with an instructor is between you and them directly
• Leave honest, fair reviews based on genuine experience

6 Terms for Driving Instructors

As a registered instructor on the Platform, you agree to:

6.1 Qualifications & Compliance

• Hold and maintain a valid ADI badge (green) or PDI licence (pink) issued by the DVSA
• Maintain appropriate motor insurance for driving instruction
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and DVSA requirements
• Keep your qualifications and insurance up to date
• Notify us immediately if your ADI status changes or is revoked

6.2 Profile Information

• Provide accurate, truthful information in your profile
• Keep your pricing, availability, and service areas current
• Not make false or misleading claims about pass rates, experience, or qualifications
• Only use photos that you have the right to use

6.3 Professional Conduct

• Respond to enquiries professionally and in a timely manner
• Not use learner contact information for any purpose other than responding to their enquiry
• Not engage in discriminatory, harassing, or unprofessional behaviour
• Honour any prices or offers advertised on your profile

7 Instructor Listings & Publicly Available Information

7.1 Claiming Your Profile

If you are a driving instructor with a listing on our Platform, you have the right to claim and manage your profile. Claiming your profile allows you to:

• Update and correct your information
• Add photos, bio, and detailed service information
• Receive and respond to enquiries from learners
• Access premium features through our subscription plans

7.2 Requesting Removal

Once removed, we will not recreate your listing from public sources. However, if you later wish to be listed, you may register for a new account.

8 Payments & Subscriptions

8.1 Subscription Plans

Instructors may subscribe to paid plans to receive unlimited enquiries and access premium features. Subscription details, including pricing and features, are available on our Pricing Page.

8.2 Billing

• Payments are processed securely via Stripe
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice

8.3 Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may offer refunds at our discretion in exceptional circumstances. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us.

9 User Content

"User Content" includes profile information, photos, reviews, messages, and any other content you submit to the Platform.

• You retain ownership of your User Content
• By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute it on the Platform
• You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide
• We may remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable
• Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and not defamatory

10 Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or qualifications
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional materials
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform without permission
• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Circumvent or manipulate our fees, billing, or subscription systems

11 Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for:

• The conduct, qualifications, or performance of any instructor
• The quality or safety of driving lessons
• Any arrangements made between learners and instructors
• Any disputes arising from driving lessons or payments between users
• Loss of business, revenue, or profits
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

12 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyInstructorFinder, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the Platform or other users. You may also delete your account at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.

14 Disputes & Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally. Many issues can be resolved quickly through our support team.

15 Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
