About Robin

Hi, I'm Robin McDonald. I'm the owner and chief instructor at A+ Driving Academy, and I've been teaching people to drive in Northern Ireland for years. I'm a Grade 6 ADI, which is the highest level an instructor can achieve, and I actually train other driving instructors as well as first-time drivers. I'm really proud of our exceptional first-time pass rate, and we're known for not wasting time - we get you test-ready efficiently, often in as little as 2-4 weeks. I cover a wide area, including Coleraine, Ballycastle, Portrush, Portstewart, Garvagh, Ballymoney, Dungiven, Limavady, Derry City, Strabane, Claudy, and more recently Ballymena, Antrim, Portglenone, Maghera, Magherafelt, and Toome. We're also re-test specialists and welcome nervous pupils, with both male and female instructors available. I make sure all our instructors are fully qualified, follow our code of conduct, and are properly insured, so you can learn with confidence. We offer intensive courses, theory packages with free learning materials, and we're DOE approved. My approach is patient and understanding, and I love seeing our pupils become safe, happy drivers. First time pass!! I'm over the moon, had just been out over 2 months with Robin McDonald going out with him twice a week & passed first time! I had heard A+ Instructors don't waste time, they dont prolong lessons over a year period or so... I would highly recommend A+ and will be telling all my friends. Thanks very much Robin.
