Lee Brookes

Lee Brookes is a friendly DVSA-approved driving instructor based in Dudley with more than eight years' experience as an ADI. Born and bred in the Black Country, he knows Dudley and the surrounding test routes inside out, including Pensnett, Kingswinford, Merry Hill and Russell Hall. He uses this local knowledge to plan lessons on the same types of roads you'll face on test day. Lee joined Homers Driving School in 2018 after training with them himself. After a 30-year career in engineering, he moved into full-time driving tuition and hasn't looked back. He teaches in a compact Ford Fiesta (Homers Red 1, '65 plate) with dual controls. Lessons are all about building your confidence with clear structure, plenty of practice, mock tests and route familiarity. A family man with grown-up teenagers, Lee gets on well with younger drivers and keeps things calm, patient and practical so you can make steady, safe progress. Lee offers regular weekly lessons and intensive crash courses, with both manual and automatic options. All his lessons meet Homers' DBS and DVSA standards.
