John Grundy

Hi, I'm John Grundy. I've been teaching people to drive around Preston since 1975, and I'm the sole proprietor of John Grundy Driving School. I passed my ADI exam soon after starting, and I've taught all sorts of learners over the years, from young beginners to older folks needing refreshers. I even specialised in disability tuition for a while, helping people use adapted controls to get back their independence, which I found really rewarding. I've also taught army personnel, which was quite an experience in itself. I take pride in my pass rate, which is well above the national average. I remember one lady from Walton-Le-Dale who'd failed about a dozen tests before winning a competition for free lessons with me. She passed first time after we worked together. All my lessons are a full hour door to door, and it's just you and me in the car, no other pupils. You'll learn in a dual control Renault Clio 1.2 Dynamique. I offer help with theory and hazard perception tests for free, and I cover areas like Ashton, Broadgate, Penwortham, Lostock Hall, and Longton.
