The search fee is paid upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more, plus optional Priority for £25. The fee is retained only if you accept an offer. If no suitable local offer is available by your agreed search deadline, the full fee including Priority is refunded. You also get a full refund if you decline an offer, which closes the entire search, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance. The full refund includes Priority in each case.
Keep lesson payments straightforward
For an offer accepted through this service, you pay the instructor directly on the day of each lesson. There is no advance lesson payment or deposit. The search fee is separate and is not held back until your first lesson.
Test-centre cards give straight-line distances from Ferndale’s area reference point, not the road distance from your home. DVSA does not publish practical test routes. Focus practice on safe observation, independent decisions and manoeuvres across different road settings, with your instructor deciding what suits your progress.
