About Stuart

Hi, I'm Stuart Field. I run Ahead of the Field, a family driving school in Yeovil. We've been teaching people to drive here for years, and we're really proud of our record. More than 4 out of 5 of our students pass first time, which is way above the national average. We're a friendly bunch, and we're good with nervous learners. We know it can be a bit scary at first, but we'll help you build your confidence on the road. We use the DSA's structured method, covering 24 key skills across 5 levels, so you learn everything properly. We offer manual and automatic cars, and you can choose a male or female instructor if that makes you more comfortable. Besides regular lessons, we do refreshers if you're a bit rusty, Pass Plus courses, and semi-intensive options. We also help with test bookings and motorway lessons. It's all about giving you the best chance to pass and drive safely. Give us a call if you'd like to get started.
