Hi, I'm Steve. I run Steve Ward Driving School, teaching people to drive around Folkestone, Ashford, Dover and the wider Kent area. I'm a qualified DVSA driving instructor, and I've been doing this for a while now. I specialise in automatic lessons, but I offer a whole range of courses to suit different needs. Whether you're a complete beginner, need a refresher, or want to build your confidence, I can help. I work with pupils who have various physical, emotional and learning needs, and I always take the time to explain things clearly and give you feedback in a way that makes sense. I use mindfulness techniques too, which can really help if you're feeling a bit nervous. My lessons are normally 1.5 to 2 hours long, because I find that gives you the best chance to learn and get good value. I offer everything from regular hourly lessons to intensive courses that can get you test-ready in a week. I also do motorway training and Pass Plus courses, so you're fully prepared for life on the road.
