Stephen Mullen

Stephen Mullen has been a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) since 2006, so you're in very safe hands. With over 17 years of teaching experience, he keeps things simple and clear. First he gets you confident with handling and controlling the car to a high standard, then he focuses on your decision making. Stephen explains everything properly before you try anything and uses helpful teaching aids, so you always know what you're doing and why. He's based in Cumbernauld and only teaches pupils from this area, using the Airdrie test centre, which is about 15 minutes from most parts of Cumbernauld. This cuts down on travel time and means more of your lesson is spent actually driving. Stephen knows everyone learns differently and adjusts his calm, patient style to suit you, whether you're a complete beginner or coming back for refresher lessons. He keeps a clean, well equipped Vauxhall Corsa with dual controls and follows the DVSA's code of conduct, so your lessons are safe, comfortable and focused on helping you pass.
