Shaun Murphy

Shaun Murphy runs SLM School of Motoring and teaches in Mansfield and Sutton-in-Ashfield. He uses the Driver Active teaching system developed by John Farlom, which won the Golden L Award in 2014/2015. Lessons are planned so they feel structured, make sense and are still enjoyable. From your first lesson Shaun shows you how you are getting on, and after ten hours of tuition you get an incentive such as a free theory test or study pack. His pupils often describe him as patient and easy to talk to, and say he is great at building confidence in nervous learners. Shaun specialises in practical test preparation, including Part-Trained Test Rescue, short-notice test bookings, Show Me Tell Me practice, independent driving and motorway confidence-building. He also offers Pass Plus training and encourages a focused way of learning to help cut down overall lesson time and cost. His lessons use clear feedback, realistic goals and simple, practical techniques to help you pass as quickly and safely as possible.
