About Rebecca King
Hi, I'm Rebecca King. I've been an Approved Driving Instructor since 2018, teaching people to drive around Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding areas. I offer automatic lessons in my VW Golf, which has all the modern features like air conditioning and dual controls to make learning comfortable and safe.
I know starting to drive can feel a bit daunting, especially if you've had a break or previous bad experiences. My approach is calm and structured, focusing on building your confidence step by step. I've helped plenty of nervous learners overcome their fears and pass first time, and I aim to create a relaxed environment where you can develop your skills at your own pace.
Whether you're brand new, need refresher lessons, or want to tackle motorway driving, I'm here to help. I offer lessons Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings by special arrangement. It's really rewarding to see my students grow into confident, safe drivers ready for today's roads.

I was really anxious, nervous and lacked confidence. In these months I have overcome a lot of my fears and passed my driving test first time. I had been with other driving instructors previous to Rebecca and had bad experiences, but she always stayed calm even when I didn't! I truly believe I wouldn't have done it without her and for that, I am truly thankful. I will miss our Wednesday evenings!!
Rebecca has the right balance of expertise, patience, faith and humour! She really knows her stuff and guided me through the process from beginning to end. She helped me to gain the confidence to pass my test and believed in me even when I didn't. Definitely recommend her to teach you to drive particularly if you are a nervous driver.
