Pete Giles

Hi, I'm Pete Giles. I've been an approved driving instructor (ADI) for a while now, and I run my driving school in Yeovil and the surrounding areas. I've got a real passion for driving, and I love passing that on to new drivers. I started my driving career way back in the 80s when I joined the Army as a driver, and I've driven all sorts of vehicles all over the world, from motorcycles to armoured vehicles. I'm qualified to teach everything from cars and motorcycles to HGVs and coaches, and I've taught hundreds of people to drive, including some pretty advanced stuff like evasive driving techniques. I only offer manual lessons, and I don't hire my car out for tests unless I've coached you first. My aim is to work with you to achieve your goals, whether you're a complete beginner, need to refresh your skills, or want to build your confidence. I've helped lots of nervous learners, and it's a real privilege to see my students grow and achieve things they never thought possible at the start. My students have a well above average first time pass rate, but for me, it's not just about passing the test. I want you to enjoy the journey and become a safe, confident driver. I'm based in Yeovil, and I'm here to help you all the way.
