About Paul Shepherd
Hi, I'm Paul Shepherd. I've been teaching people to drive around Ashford for over 20 years now, and I still get a real buzz from helping learners gain their independence. I run Paul's Driver Training, offering lessons for everyone from complete beginners to those needing a bit of a refresher.
My approach is pretty laid back. I work at a pace you're comfortable with to make sure you feel safe and confident behind the wheel. We'll have a laugh along the way too, I like to keep things fun. I cover everything from the basics and hazard perception to motorway driving and Pass Plus courses. I'm happy to help with mock tests and theory test tips as well.
I teach all age groups, from 17 to 70, and I'm known for being patient and encouraging. I offer block booking discounts if you want to book your first 10 lessons upfront. Give me a call if you'd like a chat about getting started.

For Paul, the hero, the myth, the legend.... If this man can get me to pass my test, he can get anyone to pass. Patience of a saint! Everything was explained really clearly all the time and lessons were well structured so that I progressed without getting bored or feeling rushed.

Paul is a patient and friendly teacher who takes the time to help you understand what you are doing and why you are doing something whilst driving. It's really easy to build a rapport with Paul so that learning to drive is fun and exciting!!
