About Nick

Nick Darani runs Papa Nick's Driving School in Peterborough and is a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). He has over 25 years as a professional driver and more than 30 years' driving experience, plus a top instructor grade of A+. Nick has helped hundreds of learners pass their tests and his pupils achieve an average pass rate of about 95%. Lessons are structured, with a quick chat before and after, and he includes in-car theory work and practice on actual test routes. Nick teaches mainly in manual cars and offers single hour lessons, two-hour sessions and block bookings. He is calm, patient and good at building confidence, so he works especially well with nervous or anxious learners. He covers Peterborough and the surrounding areas, keeps a strong focus on road safety and practical test preparation, and adjusts each lesson to suit how you learn and the pace you are happy with.
