I wanted to learn to drive to allow me to access places that would be difficult for me to get to. This means a lot to me as it allows me to be able to travel to university and also go places that I was not able to go to. I would recommend Juliet massively as she has helped me get to the point that I am at now and has had great patience with me. She is an excellent teacher and I would recommend her to anyone that needs lessons.

Juliet is a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) who runs HeadStart Driving School in Silsden, Bradford. She has over 30 years' experience in education, including 34 years in the Local Education System as a Teacher, SENDCO, Deputy Head and Headteacher, so she really understands how people learn and what extra support some learners need. She's DBS checked and has loved driving from a young age, so she mixes solid technical know-how with tried-and-tested teaching methods to help learners at all levels.

The reason why I wanted to learn to drive was to gain more independence and be able to drive where I like when I like. My experience of my lessons has been so thorough and positive and has helped me pass 1st time! The lessons were tailored to my needs and especially in the run up to my test, I was able to prioritise practicing the manoeuvres/skills I needed to.
I began my driving lessons last year as I wanted to have the driving freedom. I found Juliet and it was the best move I went for when finding an Instructor! We've had laughs in every lesson, especially with my rear windscreen wipers...
I wanted to drive for the ability to be independent, to play sports and get myself places. The lessons have been so easy and developed at my pace for my comfort to allow me to be confident in all driving aspects. I didn't dread doing a lesson but rather smiled knowing I was going to be able to go at my own pace, building my driving confidence up.
It's been an absolute pleasure working with Juliet. She has really helped me as someone who wasn't confident driving. She has been great as she has really brought my confidence up and I got along really well with her. I wanted to pass for work opportunities and opportunities in general, and I am really happy I passed. But I can't put into words how much of a pleasure it was working with Juliet. I am very happy to have passed but will miss my lessons.
