About Jody Thomas
Jody Thomas set up his driving school in Tunbridge Wells in 2009 and has been teaching ever since. He has always held the top grade possible for a driving instructor. In his most recent standards check he scored a perfect 51 out of 51, so you know you are in very safe hands. With over a decade of experience, Jody has also trained several of the other instructors in his school, so everyone teaches to the same high standard.
Jody is calm, patient and easy to get along with. He quickly works out what you need and explains things in a way that makes sense. He is happy teaching complete beginners, people coming back after a long break, or drivers who just want a few refresher lessons. His school offers both manual and automatic lessons across Kent and East Sussex, including Tunbridge Wells, Brighton, Maidstone, Sevenoaks and surrounding areas. Peter was fantastic, I was doing lessons with AA and felt like I was getting nowhere, Peter made me feel relaxed, was flexible in when my lessons were and made me feel comfortable. I passed first time with 4 minors and even went back for a motorway lesson over a year afterwards.
Passed first time with only 2 faults thanks to Ian. He has a great way of teaching and makes the lessons very enjoyable with his added humour! I would definitely recommend him and Jody Thomas Driving School to anyone looking for driving lessons. Thank you Ian!
Jody is great! I'd had a long break in lessons and he was able to quickly assess where I was and tailor our lessons. Very calm approach and gives a good balance of guidances vs. allowing independence. And I passed first time!
John helped me pass my test and he boosted my confidence in my driving skills! My previous driving instructor said I was not ready for the test but John was gave me the confidence I need and did not make me do extra lessons. So glad I have found him!
