About Jody

Jody Thomas set up his driving school in Tunbridge Wells in 2009 and has been teaching ever since. He has always held the top grade possible for a driving instructor. In his most recent standards check he scored a perfect 51 out of 51, so you know you are in very safe hands. With over a decade of experience, Jody has also trained several of the other instructors in his school, so everyone teaches to the same high standard. Jody is calm, patient and easy to get along with. He quickly works out what you need and explains things in a way that makes sense. He is happy teaching complete beginners, people coming back after a long break, or drivers who just want a few refresher lessons. His school offers both manual and automatic lessons across Kent and East Sussex, including Tunbridge Wells, Brighton, Maidstone, Sevenoaks and surrounding areas. Lessons are kept affordable, with discounts for block bookings, so learning to drive is within reach for most budgets. The school has a strong reputation for building confidence and getting first time passes, with lots of pupils recommending Jody and his team. He is friendly and professional, and gives clear, personalised feedback so you always know how you are getting on. Jody keeps his standards high and is always looking to improve the school, helping learners become safe, confident drivers who actually enjoy their lessons.
