Huw Davies

Huw Davies is a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) with a Grade A, the highest possible grade. He started his instructor training in 2005. Based around Llanidloes and Caersws in Mid Wales, Huw teaches to the DVSA syllabus and has a strong reputation locally. His first-time pass rate is exceptionally high and well above the Newtown test centre average. Before going independent, he worked for a local Newtown company for three years and brings that practical experience into his lessons. Huw is patient, friendly and relaxed, and aims to keep lessons calm and stress free. He teaches in a fully insured, dual-controlled Peugeot 208 with air conditioning and he does not share cars between pupils. He offers learner lessons, intensive courses, Pass Plus, advanced and refresher courses, plus the Powys mature driver scheme for over-55s. Huw also offers flexible payment options, cash or BACS, and holds a CRB certificate.
