Fred

Fred is an award-winning driving instructor with Clearway Driving School. He has over 60 years of experience and a brilliant first-time pass rate, which helped Clearway win Best Driving School in Blackpool 2024. Clearway is the longest-established school of motoring in the area, running for 59 years, and Fred has also been a finalist in the ADI Industry Achievement Awards. He teaches in a calm, patient way and goes at your pace, so he's great with nervous learners or anyone who just wants to feel more confident on the road. Fred has been named Young Driver of the Year three times and has helped countless pupils pass first time, often with very few minors or even zero faults. He offers intensive driving courses with guaranteed tests, motorway training and refresher lessons, all in a relaxed but professional style. His pupils often mention his wit, how easy he is to talk to, and how clearly he explains things, which makes lessons both productive and genuinely enjoyable.
