David Carvill

Hi, I'm David Carvill. I'm an approved driving instructor based in Bangor, Northern Ireland, and I've been teaching people to drive around the North Down area for a good while now. I really enjoy helping learners take that important step in their lives, and I focus on building a relationship with each client to suit their individual needs. I'm patient, reliable, and easy going, and I understand what today's learners are looking for. I use the latest training methods to keep your lessons to a minimum without compromising on quality or safety, which helps reduce the overall cost for you. I also offer onboard theory and hazard perception help, and I can advise on the best materials for the theory test. I teach in a brand new Peugeot e-208 GT electric car, which is an automatic. It's widely seen as one of the easiest cars to drive in the UK right now, with no gears, no clutch, and no stalling, so it takes away some of the trickiest parts of learning. More and more learners are choosing automatics these days, and I'm confident this trend will keep growing. My goal is to enable you to be the best driver you can be, and I cover areas like Bangor, Newtownards, and Conlig. I've had students like Barbera Kells, Lewis Marks, Corey Mulholland, and Rachel McLean pass their tests recently, which is always great to see.
