About Bob

Hi, I'm Bob Thorpe. I've been teaching people to drive around Hastings and St Leonards since 1989, so that's well over 25 years now. I'm a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor with a Grade A Standards Check, and I've helped hundreds of learners get on the road safely. My approach is client centred, which means I focus on what you need to learn and help you build your confidence step by step. I think that kind of training sticks with you, and it can even help keep your insurance costs down later on. I offer lessons for all sorts of drivers, whether you're just starting out, need a refresher, or want to do a Pass Plus course. I also train people for the Taxi Test and the full D1 minibus entitlement. Right now, I'm fully booked with existing clients, especially those with tests coming up, so I'm not taking on new students. But keep an eye on the website for updates. You can pay for lessons with all major cards or PayPal, and there are discounted block payments available too.
