Barry Garbett

Barry Garbett is a very experienced driving instructor in Scunthorpe, with more than 30 years of teaching and over 3,000 passes to his name. He's a fully qualified instructor (ADI code 11 04 32) and runs a one-man school, so you'll always deal with the same person from your first lesson to your test. Barry teaches in both manual and automatic cars and uses a Toyota Yaris for all lessons. He's known for being punctual, calm and patient, and he follows a clear lesson plan with realistic goals and a quick review at the end of every session. Barry is great with nervous learners and offers one-to-one, door-to-door lessons across Scunthorpe and the surrounding areas. He provides focused test prep, Pass Plus courses and refresher lessons if you've not driven for a while or want to build your confidence back up. Lessons are £40 per full hour, and his teaching style is all about quality, safety and long-term value, helping you pass in a sensible number of lessons rather than dragging things out.
