Hi, I'm Alan. I run TLC Driving School, a local independent driving school in Kent. I've been teaching people to drive for years, and I love helping learners build their confidence and skills. My approach is all about creating a calm, friendly atmosphere where you can learn at your own pace. I offer lessons in 1, 1.5, and 2 hour slots, and I adapt each session to suit your individual needs. I'm proud of my track record, with an 84.6% first-time pass rate in 2023 and 87.5% in 2024, and my students average just 3.3 driver faults on their tests. I also teach extra manoeuvres like the turn in the road and reversing around a corner, which I think are still really useful skills to have. Whether you're a complete beginner, need a refresher, or want motorway lessons, I'm here to help. I cover areas like Biggin Hill and Petts Wood, and I use test centres in West Wickham, Sevenoaks, Bromley, and Sidcup. I also offer a parent drive-along service so families can see what we're working on and support practice at home. My goal is simple: to get you driving safely and confidently, and passing your test first time.
