Hi, I'm Abid. I've been an Approved Driving Instructor since 2014, teaching people to drive around Edinburgh. I'm based near the Currie Test Centre and cover areas like Colinton, Corstorphine, Morningside, and South Gyle. I really enjoy helping students build their confidence, whether they're just starting out or feeling a bit nervous about learning. My teaching style is calm and patient, and I focus on what each student needs. At the start of each lesson, I'll recap what we've covered before and ask a few questions to help things stick. Then we'll work on new skills, like roundabouts, manoeuvres, or driving on the city bypass. I make sure we practice everything that could come up in the test, even the little things like anticipation and judgement. I always want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, because that's how you learn faster. I've helped a lot of students pass their test and become safe, confident drivers. We'll practice on real Edinburgh test routes, including busy spots like the Calder Road roundabouts and parking manoeuvres in places like Pentland Avenue and Dovecot Road. My goal is to make your training as smooth as possible, so you can get your full license and drive independently. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey.
