Finding your instructor locally
Find a driving instructor for Staveley lessons
Local information checked 21 October 2026
We can match you with one of our vetted instructors for Staveley and check whether they cover your exact pickup address. Tell us your preferred transmission and schedule, plus the part of town where a lesson should start.
Plan practice around local destinations
The council’s Staveley area map labels the A619, A632 and Staveley Town Centre, as well as Barrow Hill and Poolsbrook. Use these familiar names to explain where you travel and what you would like to practise. Your instructor can help you work on following signs, anticipating junctions and adjusting to different road settings at an appropriate pace.
Netherthorpe and Middlecroft are also nearby areas. If one is a better pickup point, tell us the exact address. We confirm the instructor’s coverage for that location before sending you an offer.
How we match your needs
We contact suitable instructors from our vetted network and confirm pickup coverage, manual or automatic tuition, available dates and times, and the lesson price directly. We negotiate the best available rate for your request. You see the instructor and terms first, and any offer is held for at least 24 hours.
Fees and paying for each lesson
Pay the MyInstructorFinder search fee upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more, plus optional £25 Priority. We keep it only if you accept an offer. If no suitable offer is found by the agreed deadline or the final held offer expires unaccepted, we refund the full fee including Priority. Declining any offer closes the entire search and brings the same full refund.
Pay lesson fees directly to your instructor on the day of each lesson. No advance lesson payment or deposit is required through this service.
Test-centre comparison
Test-centre distances are approximate straight-line estimates from the Staveley area, not road distances from your pickup. They are not route directions from your pickup address.
