Finding your instructor locally
Driving lessons in Newent arranged around your pickup
Local information checked 20 October 2026
We help learners in Newent find an instructor who can cover their pickup and schedule. Share where you want to start and what you hope to practise, and we pair you with one of our vetted instructors after checking the details.
Plan around the town and wider approaches
Gloucestershire County Council’s walking and cycling plan identifies Gloucester Street, Church Street and High Street as key routes through Newent. It also names Ross Road and Watery Lane in the local network. These references can help you explain where you want lessons to begin and the kind of turns or road transitions you want to practise.
If you are near Three Ashes or Oxenhall, give us the exact pickup address. We confirm coverage directly with the instructor and can include your preferred starting point in the offer.
Check your lesson requirements
Tell us if you prefer manual or automatic tuition, the dates and times you can manage and any lesson goals. We confirm actual pickup coverage, your transmission preference, suitable dates and times, and the lesson price directly with the instructor. We negotiate the best available lesson rate for your request.
You see the offer before accepting it, and it is held for at least 24 hours so you can review the pickup, schedule and terms.
Know what is paid and when
The search fee is paid upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 hours or more. Optional Priority costs £25. We retain the search fee only if you accept an offer. If no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, we refund the full search fee, including Priority. Declining an offer closes the whole search and also brings a full refund including Priority; the same full refund applies if your final held offer expires without acceptance.
After acceptance, lesson payments go directly to the instructor on the day of each lesson. No advance lesson payment or deposit is required through this service.
