Finding your instructor locally
Driving lessons in New Alresford with a clear meeting point
Local information checked 20 October 2026
A useful New Alresford lesson match starts with a pickup that suits you and an instructor who can cover it. We pair you with one of our vetted instructors after checking your actual address, transmission preference and schedule.
Describe the part of town you use
The town’s conservation-area statement identifies access points at East Street and Sun Lane, and describes The Avenue as reached via Bridge Road. It also notes the railway bridge at the northern end of Jacklyns Lane. These names can help you explain where you want lessons to start and what kind of town driving you would like to practise.
If you are near Old Alresford or Bishop’s Sutton, give us the precise pickup point. We check the location with the instructor and include the agreed starting arrangement in the offer.
Compare lesson terms before accepting
Tell us if you prefer manual or automatic tuition, the dates and times you can manage and your goals. We confirm actual pickup coverage, your transmission preference, suitable dates and times, and the lesson price directly with the instructor. We negotiate the best available lesson rate for your request.
The offer is yours to review before acceptance and is held for at least 24 hours. Check the pickup, schedule and lesson price before deciding.
Understand the upfront fee
The search fee is paid upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 hours or more. Optional Priority is £25. The fee is retained only if you accept an offer. We issue a full refund of the search fee, including Priority, if no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline. Declining an offer closes the whole search and also brings a full refund including Priority; the same refund applies if your final held offer expires without acceptance.
After acceptance, lesson payments go directly to the instructor on the day of each lesson. No advance lesson payment or deposit is required through this service.
