The conservation appraisal describes the town in the steep Lim valley and on coastal slopes. It notes twisting streets around Church Street and Bridge Street, with Silver Street steep and sinuous. If you want to practise hill starts, careful speed control or positioning on bends, tell your instructor. They can choose an appropriate section and make the lesson manageable for your experience.

We pair you with one of our vetted instructors and negotiate the best available rate for the hours requested. Your offer confirms pickup coverage, manual or automatic lessons, dates and times, and lesson price. It is held for at least 24 hours so you can consider the arrangement before accepting.

The search fee is paid upfront at £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more. Optional Priority costs £25. We retain the fee only if you accept an offer. If no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, the full search fee including Priority is refunded. Declining any offer closes the whole search and gives a full refund including Priority. The same full refund applies if the final held offer expires without acceptance.

Pay tuition directly on lesson days

For offers through our service, lesson payments go directly to the instructor on the day of each lesson. There is no advance lesson payment or deposit. The search fee is separate and paid upfront. Centre cards show straight-line distances from Lyme Regis’s area reference point, not road journeys from your pickup.
