Plan around your pickup and local roads
Filham, Penquit, Bittaford and Ermington are useful place names when you describe where you would like to meet. Give us the actual pickup address and your preferred days or times so we can check coverage for your request, rather than assume a nearby village is included.

Those local differences can help you explain what you want to practise, such as reading signs early on a wider approach or looking well ahead where banks limit the view. We match you with one of our vetted instructors and negotiate the best available rate for your requested hours. Before you accept, the offer sets out pickup coverage, transmission, lesson dates and times, and the lesson price. The offer is held for at least 24 hours.
Our search fee is paid upfront and is £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours, or £19.99 for 11 or more; optional Priority is £25. We retain the search fee only if you accept an offer. If no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, the full fee including Priority is refunded. Declining any offer closes the whole search and brings a full refund including Priority. The full refund also applies if the final held offer expires without acceptance.
Keep lesson payments separate
For offers through our service, lesson payments go directly to the instructor on the day of each lesson. There is no advance lesson payment and no deposit. The upfront search fee is a separate payment.
The nearby test-centre cards use straight-line distances from Ivybridge’s area reference point, not your pickup address. Lessons can prepare you to follow signs, assess changing views and make safe decisions on roads chosen for your level; DVSA does not publish test routes.
