Driving lessons in Gillingham, Dorset with clear terms
Local information checked 21 October 2026
If you are looking for driving lessons in Gillingham, Dorset, we can pair you with one of our vetted instructors and confirm the details that matter to you. Share your preferred pickup, manual or automatic choice, dates and times, and budget. The instructor checks actual coverage and lesson price before you decide.
Choose your pickup area
Nearby places such as Lodbourne, Cold Harbour, Peacemarsh and Colesbrook can help you describe where you would like lessons to start. You can also tell us if you are closer to Eccliffe or Madjeston. We ask the instructor to confirm coverage for your actual address and availability for your preferred transmission and times.
Gillingham’s Neighbourhood Plan names Le Neubourg Way and the B3081 towards Wyke and B3092 towards Mere. These familiar connections can help you describe regular journeys; your instructor can choose practice that suits your experience and the conditions on the day.
Review the offer before accepting
We approach suitable vetted instructors and negotiate the best available lesson rate for the hours requested. The offer sets out confirmed pickup coverage, transmission, dates, times and lesson price. You can see it before accepting; it is held for at least 24 hours.
The upfront search fee is £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 hours or more. Priority is optional at £25. We retain the fee only when you accept an offer. If no suitable local offer is available by the search deadline agreed with you, we refund the full fee including Priority. You also receive a full refund if you decline an offer, closing the whole search, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance. The full refund includes Priority in each case.
Pay for lessons as they take place
With offers through our service, tuition payments go directly to the instructor on the day of each lesson. No lesson payment is due in advance and no deposit is required. The search fee is separate from lesson costs.
The nearest-centre cards show straight-line distances from Gillingham’s area reference point, not driving distances from your address. DVSA does not publish test routes. Practice varied roads, independent decisions and manoeuvres so you can respond confidently without learning a supposed fixed route.
