Practise turns in the village centre
Ewell’s conservation appraisal describes an informal crossroads at the centre, with Church Street as its strongest historic streetscape. It also identifies Bourne Hall and its park, ponds and watercourses as prominent local references. These places can help you describe a pickup and plan a town-centre journey.
Ask your instructor to practise approaching a crossroads at a safe speed, scanning for other road users and choosing a position before turning. Begin with familiar streets and add a more complex approach when you are ready. The instructor will select a suitable route and follow current signs.

We negotiate the best available rate for your request. You see the offer before acceptance and it is held for at least 24 hours.
The MIF Search Fee is paid upfront at £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more hours, with optional Priority at £25. We retain it only if you accept. The full Search Fee including Priority is refunded if no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, if you decline any offer, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance. Declining closes the entire search. Lesson payments go directly to your instructor on each lesson day, with no advance lesson payment or deposit.
