Mid Sussex District Council’s 2026 improvement plan looks at the link between High Street, London Road and West Street, including traffic, crossings and accessibility. Those streets make clear references when discussing a destination and planning an approach. Your instructor can choose an appropriate setting to practise looking for people crossing, leaving space and preparing for a turn.
The plan also considers possible future changes, so use the signs and layout in place on the day. Begin with roads that fit your experience and build towards busier streets as your observation and confidence improve.
Review the offer before accepting
We pair you with one of our vetted instructors. The instructor confirms actual pickup coverage, manual or automatic and other preferences, suitable dates and times, and lesson price directly. We negotiate the best available rate for your request. You see the offer before acceptance and it is held for at least 24 hours.
The MIF Search Fee is paid upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more hours, with optional Priority at £25. We retain it only if you accept. The full Search Fee including Priority is refunded if no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, if you decline any offer, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance. Declining closes the entire search. Lesson payments go directly to the instructor on each lesson day, with no advance lesson payment or deposit.
