Use local destinations to plan a lesson

Dover District Council’s parking strategy identifies the A20 and A256 as routes into and through the town centre, with Pencester Road and Maison Dieu among the car parks around the High Street. The council’s current parking page also names Castle Street. These references can help you describe a destination and discuss how to read signs, plan a turn and choose an appropriate stopping place.

Your instructor can select roads that suit your experience, moving from familiar streets to a wider connection when you are ready. Practise looking ahead and checking the signs in place rather than assuming a parking area or road access will suit every lesson.

Understand the offer and lesson payments

We pair you with one of our vetted instructors. The instructor confirms actual pickup coverage, manual or automatic preference and other needs, suitable dates and times, and lesson price directly. We negotiate the best available rate for your request. You see the offer before accepting and it is held for at least 24 hours.

The MIF Search Fee is paid upfront at £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more hours, with optional Priority at £25. We retain it only if you accept. The full Search Fee including Priority is refunded if no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, if you decline any offer, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance. Declining closes the entire search. Lesson payments go directly to the instructor on each lesson day, with no advance lesson payment or deposit.
