Local information checked 21 October 2026

Make Ashford approaches part of your plan
Bockhanger, Kennington Lees, Bybrook and Goat Lees are nearby places that can help you describe where you want lessons to start. Around Ashford, the A28 Canterbury Road and A2070 Willesborough Road are useful local names when you explain which approaches you would like to become more familiar with.
The A2042 links into the wider road setting, with Bybrook Road and George Williams Way among the named junction references in the council’s local assessment. You can ask to work on reading signs early, choosing a lane and preparing for turns. Your instructor will confirm a suitable pickup and choose roads appropriate to your experience and conditions.
Consider the offer before accepting
We pair you with one of our vetted instructors and negotiate the best available rate for the number of hours you request. Your offer sets out pickup coverage, manual or automatic tuition, dates, times and lesson price. You see the details before accepting, and the offer is held for at least 24 hours.
The upfront search fee is £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more; optional Priority costs £25. We retain the fee only if you accept an offer. If no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, you receive a full refund including Priority. Declining any offer closes the whole search and brings a full refund including Priority. You also receive the full refund if the final held offer expires without acceptance.
Pay for each lesson directly
For offers through our service, lesson payments go directly to the instructor on the day of each lesson. No advance lesson payment or deposit is needed. The search fee is a separate upfront payment.
The centre cards show straight-line distances from Kennington’s area reference point, rather than journeys from your pickup. Build confidence with safe independent decisions on a range of appropriate roads; DVSA does not publish test routes.
