About Tim
Hi, I'm Tim. I run West Hull School of Motoring, and I've been teaching people to drive around Hull and the surrounding villages for a while now. I offer lessons for everyone, whether you're just starting out, need to get up to test standard, or want a refresher after some time off the road. My approach is calm and structured, with clear lesson plans so you always know what you're working on. I keep things relaxed and positive, even on those tricky days, because learning to drive should be a good experience.
I cover Hull, Willerby, Anlaby, Hessle, and nearby areas. I provide free online theory test training to help you pass that part too. For those who've passed their test, I offer motorway driving lessons and refresher courses to build your confidence on faster roads or after a break. My car is modern and comfortable, and I'm flexible with bookings to fit around your schedule. I'm here to help you become a safe, confident driver, and I love seeing my students succeed.

I have become a confident and happy driverDuring my time with West Hull School Of Motoring, I have become a confident and happy driver. The lessons were very well planned and I had a clear understanding of what was expected of me and why. Tim was always positive, even when I wasn't having a good day. I have received useful advice on all aspects of motoring, which have helped to prepare me for driving independently and confidently in the future. Bookings were always made at a convenient time to fit in with my busy schedule and the prices are very competitive. I could not recommend the service more highly.
a very fun experienceLearning to drive with Tim was a very fun experience. He provides a joking and fun atmosphere but also makes sure he makes the best of your ability. The lessons are well planned to take you to the next step of driving and Tim never pushes you to do anything you are not comfortable doing.

I passed on my second test,(should have been the first but nerves got to me), Tim always creates a relaxed environment so you can settle into your lesson within minutes and get the most out of it, loved his car and banter, was always a laugh!
