Simon has been an Approved Driving Instructor since 2003, qualifying as an ADI after training with The Instructor College and achieving top grades. He moved over to specialist automatic tuition in 2004 and now runs one of the few purely automatic driving schools in the area. Simon keeps things clear and straightforward, using proven teaching techniques and planning lessons around each pupil. Most people start with a relaxed one hour assessment so he can see where you are and what you need. He is an accredited member of the Driving Instructors Association and teaches in line with the DVSA syllabus, including full preparation for the independent driving test on official DVSA test routes. His current pass rate is around 91 per cent and he has great results with pupils who have previously struggled with manual lessons. Simon offers one to one tuition, key worker training with enhanced hygiene measures, refresher lessons and intensive or fast pass options, although these are limited at the moment. His calm, patient manner really helps nervous learners grow in confidence and many go on to pass first time.
