Richard Spiers

Richard Spiers runs DrivinSkillz Driving School and has been an Approved Driving Instructor for over 18 years. In that time he has grown the school into one of the largest independent driving schools in Mid and South Wales. It started as Richard Spiers Driving School and is now DrivinSkillz with the motto 'driving skillz For Life'. The school's strong pass rates and professional reputation reflect Richard's experience and high standards, backed up by his registration with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). Richard keeps things very student focused. He takes his time, explains things clearly and adjusts lessons to suit each person. He specialises in intensive courses, including 5-day crash courses, and is very good with nervous learners and those with autism. His students often mention how calm and reassuring he is and how he makes lessons enjoyable, not just about ticking off test manoeuvres. Richard also trains new driving instructors and helps the school reach more learners in places like Abergavenny, Brecon, Hereford and nearby areas. All his students get free theory test support through the My Drive Time App.
