Today was my first day of driving an Automatic car with Raja and I have already Driven back home.I would highly recommend Acorn School of Motoring, Raja is an incredibly calm and friendly instructor who gives you the opportunity to ask as many questions as you want and he is fantastic at explaining things.

About Raja
Raja is a friendly, down-to-earth driving instructor with Acorn School of Motoring, with over 10 years of experience teaching both automatic and manual in Blackburn and the surrounding towns. He is part of a team of DVSA-approved ADIs and PDIs, and helps deliver a training programme ranked among the top three best-rated driving schools in Blackburn for 2023-2025. He teaches learners at all levels, from complete beginners to those wanting intensive or refresher lessons, and keeps the focus on safe, confident and responsible driving.
Raja is known for being calm and patient, and he works at your pace so lessons feel relaxed and manageable. He is great with nervous drivers, helping them rebuild confidence and get ready for their test. He often teaches motorway, Pass Plus and intensive courses, and supports learners across Blackburn, Darwen, Accrington, Preston, Nelson and nearby areas. His lessons are well organised and cover technical skills, hazard awareness and practical test preparation, so his pupils are ready for test day and for staying safe on the road long term.

Ayesha Raja, the driving instructor, was most helpful in getting my confidence back after having lost it after not having driven for some time. He took his time and showed me how to drive on uphill, brake control and safety precautions. I have gained my confidence back and would happily recommend him to instruct other learners
