Martin

Martin is the Fleet Driving Instructor Consultant, Course Adviser and Director at Manchester Driver Training Ltd. He set the company up in 2006 and has spent more than 15 years building it into a friendly, professional driving school. Over that time he has designed more than 25 different courses, including learner driver lessons, refresher sessions, motorway training and instructor training. He is known for being reliable, clear in his explanations and calm in the car, so lessons feel focused but relaxed. Martin is especially good with nervous drivers, accident victims and international licence holders, helping them grow in confidence and feel safe on UK roads. Martin keeps lessons very student focused. He is patient and encouraging and prefers hands on, on road practice rather than lots of classroom theory. He leads a team of DVSA licensed driving instructors, including Senior Instructors Lee and Kam. All training takes place in modern, clean, dual control cars and there is a strict no smoking policy. Martin also enjoys helping new instructors get started and offers investment programmes for people who want to join the industry. He welcomes learners of all ages, from 17 to over 90, and is known for being supportive, down to earth and easy to get on with.
