Mark

Mark has been teaching people to drive in Hitchin for over 20 years and really knows the local roads. He is a Grade A instructor, a level reached by less than a third of instructors, so you know you are in safe hands. He works with complete beginners, people coming back to driving after a break, nervous learners and those who have driven abroad before. Mark keeps lessons relaxed, patient and friendly, so you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. He adapts each lesson to what you need, using simple drawings and notes to make things clear, and he always checks what you want to focus on. Lessons are planned but still flexible, with lots of practice and encouragement to build your confidence. Students like his calm manner, the way he helps with nerves, and that he makes sure you really understand each skill before moving on. Mark offers weekly lessons, intensive courses and refresher lessons in a manual car, and many of his learners pass their driving test first time.
