John Mcneill

John McNeill has been teaching people to drive since 1999, so you'll be learning with someone who really knows his stuff. He started out with BSM, working in Edinburgh and across the Scottish Borders, then set up Earlston School of Motoring in 2004. Over the years he's built up a very high pass rate by keeping his teaching standards high and making sure his pupils are properly ready for their test. John likes lessons to feel like a team effort. He works with you to help you become a safe, confident and skilled driver, not just someone who can scrape through the test. He focuses on good car control and dealing calmly with all kinds of road hazards, and he'll only put you in for your test when you're genuinely ready. His lessons are relaxed but effective, and lots of his pupils pass first time and say how confident they felt. John covers Earlston, Galashiels, Lauder, the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh, and offers both manual and automatic lessons.
