Hi, I'm Jay. I've been teaching people to drive for over 19 years now, and I still really enjoy it. I run Jay's Driving School, and I focus on giving personalised lessons that help you become a confident and safe driver. My approach is all about being patient, professional, and flexible, so you can learn at your own pace and feel comfortable behind the wheel.
I've helped loads of students pass their tests, including plenty who were nervous or had tried with other instructors before. I make sure each lesson is well-structured and clear, so you build up your skills step by step. I'm based in the Hayes and Yeading area, and I'm available for lessons from 8am to 6pm on weekdays, with some weekend slots too if needed. I passed my test at the Yeading test centre on 14th November 2025. The test went smooth and this success needs to be attributed to Jay's driving school and especially Jatin who was my trainer. Jatin did a number of classes for me where the focus was on the process and reasons behind the signs and rules necessary for driving in the UK. Jatin's lessons were very informative and his patience was to cheer for. Passed my driving test today after not getting it on my first try, and honestly Jatin is the one who got me through it. We even had to switch our test centre from Uxbridge to Slough because of health and safety concerns, but he stayed calm, supportive, and made sure I was fully prepared for the change. He never made me feel bad about not passing first time, instead he helped me understand what went wrong and built my confidence back up. Jatin is patient, genuine, and actually cares about you improving, not just ticking off lessons.
