Gary Nolan

Gary has been the best instructor I have had after stopping and starting driving over the course of 10 years. He was extremely patient, clear with instructions and has an amazing teaching style that really sticks in your memory. He was not only teaching me how to pass my test but to be a good, safe driver for life, since I was quite a nervous driver. I had 3 hours a week which was just right for me to learn and progress at a pace I was comfortable with. I passed first time in March and was so happy with the outcome!! I know he has a high first time pass rate and that is for a reason. Gary's YouTube tutorials and content on his page were extremely helpful in backing up my practical driving and learning the knowledge such as road markings, roundabouts, traffic signs and the format of the test. We covered all of the main test routes from the centre I was booked in at so he made sure I knew the roads and was confident going into my test. Gary also went out of his way to help find me a cancellation as I was on a time limit to try to pass before I started a new job. I couldn't recommend Gary enough - thank you for everything!

Gary is a fantastic instructor! He is really professional and his lessons are structured but adaptable to where you need to improve your driving, he makes driving make sense! I passed my test first time thanks to Gary, he doesn't just teach you how to pass your test but gets you ready for actually driving. The Nolan School of motoring YouTube channel is really helpful in supporting your learning so definitely have a look at that. I can't recommend The Nolan School of motoring highly enough!

Great instructor - I liked how we had the learning adapt to my own pace and that I had a lot of control over what was covered in the lessons so I could fill in gaps that I felt I needed. Knowledgeable and friendly, no complaints!

The best instructor! Caters to your own personal learning style and makes lessons challenging but not unachievable, you always feel like a better driver after every week. Very easy to get along with as well and takes any nerves/anxieties that you may have had (I thought I was never going to drive when I started my lessons) out of driving. Also has very helpful resources including his website and YouTube channel at your disposal outside of lessons. I now love driving and passed first time with 5 minors thanks to Gary!
