Adur District Council places the Adur Ferry Bridge opposite the end of East Street, linking Shoreham High Street and Brighton Road with Lower Beach Road on Shoreham Beach. Plan a suitable lesson route
Tell your instructor whether you want to work on quieter streets first or build towards busier approaches such as the A259. Practise reading signs before junctions, choosing a safe position and looking out for people walking around the centre and seafront. East Street is described as pedestrianised in council study material, so agree an accessible meeting point and follow current signs. The DVSA does not publish test routes; varied practice helps you respond to unfamiliar directions.
