Finding your instructor locally
Driving lessons in Newport, Telford and Wrekin matched to your pickup
Local information checked 20 October 2026
We help learners in Newport arrange lessons with an instructor who can cover the actual pickup and times. We pair you with one of our vetted instructors and confirm the terms before you decide.
Use the town centre as a meeting reference
Telford and Wrekin Council places Newport Community Library where Stafford Street meets High Street, opposite the Indoor Market and town square. It also locates the bus station on Stafford Street Car Park. These landmarks can help you describe the centre, while the precise lesson pickup should be agreed directly with the instructor.
If you are near Church Aston or Chetwynd Aston, include the exact address in your request. We check coverage with the instructor and confirm the meeting arrangement before an offer is sent.
Match tuition to your plans
Tell us if you prefer manual or automatic lessons, your suitable dates and times and what you want to practise. We confirm actual pickup coverage, your transmission preference, suitable dates and times, and the lesson price directly with the instructor. We negotiate the best available lesson rate for your request.
The offer is sent for you to review before accepting and is held for at least 24 hours. Check the pickup, schedule and price first.
Separate search fees from lesson payments
The search fee is paid upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 hours or more. Optional Priority costs £25. We retain the search fee only if you accept an offer. If no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, we refund the full search fee including Priority. Declining an offer closes the whole search and also means a full refund including Priority; the same refund applies if your final held offer expires without acceptance.
After acceptance, lesson payments go directly to the instructor on the day of each lesson. No advance lesson payment or deposit is required through MyInstructorFinder.
