Finding your instructor locally
Driving lessons in Newbridge with a local pickup plan
Local information checked 20 October 2026
We help learners in Newbridge find an instructor who can meet at a workable place and time. We pair you with one of our vetted instructors after checking the exact pickup and lesson preferences.
Use the bridge and town centre as landmarks
Calzaghe Bridge spans the railway and River Ebbw, connecting the town-centre shops and leisure facilities with the railway station. This is a useful reference when describing where you want to meet or which part of Newbridge you want to become more confident driving in.
If you are near Cwm-dows or High Meadow, include the precise pickup address. We confirm the instructor can cover it and your offer can include the agreed starting point.
Find the right lesson arrangement
Tell us your manual or automatic preference, suitable dates and times and what you would like to practise. We confirm actual pickup coverage, your transmission preference, suitable dates and times, and the lesson price directly with the instructor. We negotiate the best available lesson rate for your request.
You review the offer before accepting. It is held for at least 24 hours so you can check the pickup, price and terms.
Keep payments clear
The search fee is paid upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 hours or more. Optional Priority costs £25. We retain the search fee only if you accept an offer. If no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, you receive a full refund of the search fee including Priority. Declining an offer closes the whole search and also brings a full refund including Priority; the same full refund applies if your final held offer expires without acceptance.
After acceptance, lesson payments go directly to the instructor on the day of each lesson. No advance lesson payment or deposit is required through MyInstructorFinder.
