Finding your instructor locally
Monifieth driving lessons matched to your local pickup
Local information checked 20 October 2026
A Monifieth lesson match should work for your actual pickup, transmission preference and schedule. We pair you with one of our vetted instructors and confirm the details directly before you decide whether to accept.
Plan around the A930 and coast
Angus Council identifies the A930 through Monifieth as Ferry Road, High Street and Ashludie Terrace. Its Marine Drive information refers to a nearby walking and cycling corridor. These names help you describe where you want lessons to begin and remind you to expect people walking and cycling in the area; follow the current signs and markings.
If you are near Balmossie or Barnhill, provide the exact collection point. We check with the instructor whether that address can be covered, then you can discuss whether town streets, coastal awareness or other goals suit your current experience.
Review the offer before booking
Tell us whether you want manual or automatic lessons, the dates and times you can manage and your pickup point. We confirm actual pickup coverage, your transmission preference, suitable dates and times, and the lesson price directly with the instructor. We negotiate the best available lesson rate for your request.
The offer is shown before you accept and is held for at least 24 hours. You can check the pickup, price and terms before deciding.
Keep fees and lesson costs separate
You pay the search fee upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 hours or more. Optional Priority is £25. The fee is retained only if you accept an offer. If no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, you get a full refund of the search fee including Priority. Declining an offer closes the whole search and also means a full refund including Priority; the same refund applies if your final held offer expires without acceptance.
After accepting an offer, lesson payments go directly to the instructor on the day of each lesson. No advance lesson payment or deposit is required through MyInstructorFinder.
