Finding your instructor locally
Driving lessons in Kinghorn with a suitable local instructor
Local information checked 21 October 2026
We help you find one of our vetted instructors for lessons in Kinghorn. Tell us the address where you want to start, your transmission preference, available times and budget. We check actual pickup coverage and confirm the lesson terms and price directly with the instructor before you accept.
Set the pickup around your day
Pettycur, Linktown and Port Brae are nearby places that can help narrow down where you want to meet. Share your exact address and whether morning, daytime or evening lessons suit you. We check the instructor’s coverage for that location and confirm a suitable meeting point directly.
Make familiar streets part of the plan
Kinghorn High Street is the main thoroughfare, while Nethergate leads towards the central harbour. Fife Council describes the town as hilly, with narrow streets and closes following steep contours. If you want to practise starting on a slope, managing speed or positioning carefully on narrower streets, tell your instructor. They can choose an appropriate road and build up at a pace that suits you.
Know the offer before accepting
We pair you with one of our vetted instructors and negotiate the best available rate for your requested lesson hours. Your offer confirms pickup coverage, manual or automatic tuition, dates, times and lesson price. It is held for at least 24 hours so you can consider the terms before accepting.
The search fee is paid upfront at £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more, with optional Priority at £25. We retain the fee only if you accept an offer. If no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, the full search fee including Priority is refunded. Declining any offer closes the whole search and brings a full refund including Priority. The same full refund applies if the final held offer expires without acceptance.
Pay for each lesson directly
For offers through our service, lesson payments go directly to the instructor on the day of each lesson. There is no advance lesson payment or deposit. The search fee is a separate upfront payment. Nearby centre cards show straight-line distances from Kinghorn’s area reference point, not your pickup.
