Choose a clear town-centre pickup
Guildford High Street, Chapel Street and Tunsgate Road have listed traffic-closure windows, and restrictions are also part of the wider centre layout. Nearby areas such as Guildford Park, Woodbridge Hill, Bellfields, Onslow Village and Westborough may be more convenient. Tell us the actual place you want to meet so we can confirm pickup coverage with the instructor.
Guildford’s Sustainable Movement Corridor project includes a pedestrian and cycle path through Bannister’s Field linking the Royal Surrey Hospital and Tesco. Council information also records earlier bus-lane and pedestrian improvements on Guildford Park Road behind the station. These routes and landmarks can help describe your normal journeys; follow current access signs when planning a pickup.
Review your offer before accepting
We contact suitable vetted instructors and negotiate the best available rate for your requested lesson hours. Your offer confirms pickup coverage, transmission, dates, times and lesson price. You can see the terms before accepting, and the offer is held for at least 24 hours.
The upfront search fee is £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours, or £19.99 for 11 or more; optional Priority is £25. The fee is retained only if you accept an offer. If we do not find a suitable local offer by the agreed search deadline, the full fee including Priority is refunded. The full refund including Priority also applies if you decline an offer, closing the whole search, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance.
Pay for tuition on lesson days
For offers through our service, lesson payments go directly to the instructor on the day of each lesson. No advance lesson payment or deposit is required. Your search fee is separate from tuition costs.
The nearest-centre cards give straight-line distances from Guildford’s area reference point, not a drive from your pickup. DVSA does not publish test routes. Build safe observation, independent decisions and manoeuvres across different settings rather than learning a predicted circuit.
