The upfront search fee is £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more, with optional Priority for a further £25. It is retained only if you accept an offer. If there is no suitable local offer by your agreed deadline, you receive a full refund including Priority. A full refund also applies if you decline an offer, closing the whole search, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance. The full refund includes Priority in each case.
Payments and practical test preparation
For an offer through our service, you pay the instructor directly on the day of each lesson. There is no advance payment for lessons and no deposit is required. Your search fee is a separate upfront charge and is not delayed until tuition begins.
The Filey test-centre cards show straight-line distances from the town’s area reference point, rather than road distances from your pickup. DVSA does not publish test routes. Practise the skills needed across different roads, including observation, safe judgement and manoeuvres, with the instructor choosing suitable places as you progress.
