Build confidence between village roads and the A84
Transport Scotland’s 2021 record places the A84 Bridge of Teith over the River Teith at the edge of Doune and identifies the A84 as a single-carriageway trunk road. This gives a local reference for progressing from village streets towards a busier connection. Ask your instructor to work on checking mirrors, choosing a safe position and judging the speed of approaching traffic before joining or turning.
Begin with roads that suit your experience, then add a wider-road setting when you are ready. Your instructor can use current traffic and your confidence to decide where to practise. The aim is steady observation and safe judgement, not learning a test route.
Review the offer and payments
We find and pair you with one of our vetted instructors. The instructor confirms actual pickup coverage, manual or automatic and other preferences, suitable dates and times, and lesson price directly. We negotiate the best available rate for your request. You see the offer before accepting and it is held for at least 24 hours.
The MIF Search Fee is paid upfront at £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more, with optional Priority at £25. We retain it only if you accept. The full Search Fee including Priority is refunded if no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, if you decline any offer, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance. Declining closes the entire search. Lesson payments go directly to your instructor on each lesson day, with no advance lesson payment or deposit.
